Raffia straw is grown on the island of Madagascar. It is a heavier straw known for its durability, excellent sun protection, and both natural & biodegradable.
We use natural fibres that fit within natural carbon cycles. We only use synthetic fibres where a natural alternative is unavailable so that it won't cost the earth later. We don't mix fibres so that we can separate components for reuse or recycling.
