Eridu is the paradise garden of the ancient Sumerians. In it cascade the clear waters, here sketched in resin, of the “glorious fountain of the abyss” by the “house of wisdom. Within its sacred grove a kiskanu tree of lapis lazuli grows. The Eridu ring is an homage to a beloved past design, the Hesperides Ring, updated with new adornments.
